Rush Coil – 8-bit Christmas
December 5th, 2009 by Sean
Not only am I a fan of video games, I’m also a huge fan of video game music. All anyone has to do is take a look at my Apple iPod to see that.
Now that the holidays are upon us it’s only appropriate to have some video game themed Christmas music to rock around the Christmas tree.
This album 100% inspired by games. It’s Rush Coil’s “8-bit Christmas”:
There are 12 tracks in all on the album. You can sample them at the official web page and it’s also available to purchase for $4.00 USD.
If you use last.fm, be sure to check out the Rush Coil last.fm page too.
Frogger Development
September 8th, 2009 by Sean
A few years ago I was working on Frogger for my Gaming Rock Star room.
Below are a couple screen shots from my work back then getting the basic concept, graphics, characters and layout in place:

A few friends have sent messages asking what software I use to create such fun and colorful video games.
The short answer is the Adobe Flash CS3 creative suite.
When you get the chance, be sure to check out Frogger and see if you can get on the letter board.
